My passion for tax law took root during college while studying accounting. A decade ago, I was fortunate to be hired by the owner of what is now Wheeler/Corr Tax Solutions, a decision that would shape my entire career. Under the mentorship of the prior owner, a former IRS Revenue Officer, I gained an invaluable education from the other side of the tax code. This unique perspective has proven instrumental in how I serve my clients today.
What drew me to this profession and what continues to drive me is the opportunity to not only help clients save money but to truly educate them about their tax returns. I believe an informed client is an empowered client, and I take pride in demystifying the complexities of tax law.
My specialty lies in working with self-employed individuals and business owners, helping them maximize the tax advantages that come with entrepreneurship. As our practice continues to grow, my commitment remains unchanged: maintaining a personal, hands-on approach with each and every client who walks through our doors.
When I'm not in the office, you'll find me enjoying walks with my German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix, Kota. I'm blessed to be the mother of four grown men and cherish the time I spend with them and their families, especially during vacation season.

My path to tax preparation began in an unexpected place; the aerospace industry. As an engineer at a startup, stock options were part of my compensation package, and like many, I was frustrated by the tax bill that came with them. That frustration sparked a simple question: there had to be a better way.
What started as a personal quest to optimize my own taxes quickly became a passion. I dove deep into the tax code, searching for strategies and opportunities. Eventually, when the opportunity arose to pursue this work full-time, I didn't hesitate!
My engineering background turned out to be the perfect foundation. It taught me to approach problems systematically, think creatively, and never settle for "good enough" when "optimal" is within reach. I bring that same analytical mindset to every client's situation, ensuring no stone is left unturned.
When I'm not immersed in tax returns and planning strategies, you'll find me at home with my wife and our two incredible kids; Hudson, our energetic 3-year-old, and Harper, our curious 1-year-old. They keep us wonderfully busy and remind me every day why this work matters.
